Ingredients

  • ¾ cup Dwaraka Organic Ragi Flour
  •  ¾ cup Dwaraka Organic Maida Flour
  •   cup Melted Unsalted Butter
  •  ¾ cup Milk
  •  2 tsp Cocoa Powder
  •  1 cup Sugar
  •   cup Yogurt
  •  1 tbsp Vanilla Extract
  •  1 tsp Baking Powder
  •  ½ tsp Baking Soda
  •   Salt

Method

  1. Grease a 7-inch pan and line it with parchment paper.
  2. Preheat the oven at 150° for 15 minutes.
  3. Sieve together ragi flour, maida flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda, and cocoa thrice.
  4. Add sugar to the bowl of flour.
  5. Whisk the yogurt thoroughly.
  6. Add milk, yogurt, butter, and vanilla to the bowl of flour.
  7. Mix everything together. Make sure there are no lumps.
  8. Pour the mix in the preheated pan.
  9. Knock the pan on the counter a few times to let the mix settle.
  10. Bake it in the oven for 25-30 minutes. Do the toothpick test to check if it’s completely baked.
  11. Let it rest for 15 minutes in the pan.
  12. Take it out of the pan and cool it for some more time until it reaches room temperature.
  13. Top it with your choice of icing and grab a slice!
