Ingredients

Method

  1. Sieve the flour, baking powder, and baking soda in a bowl and keep them aside.
  2. Now, take a separate bowl and mix ghee and powdered sugar in it. Whisk till this combination is white and fluffy.
  3. Add the flour mixture, sooji, powdered nuts, and cardamom powder. Mix them well to form a soft dough.
  4. Divide the dough into equal portions and roll them out into round-flat-shaped cookies.
  5. Preheat your oven to 320 degrees Fahrenheit (160 degrees Celsius) for 20-25 minutes.
  6. Place the Nankhatais in the baking tray and garnish them with almond slivered pressed in them.
  7. Put them in the oven and let them bake.
  8. After 20-25 minutes, remove them and let them cool for 10-15 minutes.
  9. Once cool, serve them with some tea or coffee.
