The vibrant festival of Makar Sankranti is reason enough to savor the festive specialty, Sesame Laddoos! These laddoos are easy to make as there are just a few ingredients. But the taste of these laddoos makes anyone fall for them right after the first bite.
Let a non-stick pan heat and add the sesame seeds to dry roast them for about 8 minutes on low flame. Keep stirring well. Keep it aside after it’s done.
Heat the non-stick pan again, add the ghee and jaggery, and mix well while cooking in low flame for about 4 minutes.
Add the sesame seeds, cardamom, and peanuts and keep stirring until it mixes well.
Spread the mixture evenly on a greased plate and let it cool for a couple of minutes.
Put a tiny amount of water to your palms and take chunks out of the mixture and make round-shaped ladoos out of them.
Repeat this process until you are out of the mixture and you have enough ladoos.
Allow them to cool down entirely, and once done, store them in an airtight container.
Your ladoos are ready to be served.
