Ingredients

Method

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F
  • First of all, wash, peel, and cut sweet potatoes into approx. 1” cubes.
  • Then, take a small bowl and add oil, Chilli Powder, Cumin, Garlic Powder, and Salt.
  • Whisk with a fork until all of it blends well.
  • Now, add the sweet potato cubes to the baking tray.
  • Drizzle it with the mixture and use your hands to coat them well.
  • Make sure to set the sweet potato cubes in a single layer so they do not overlap.
  • Next up, bake for 27- 30 minutes or until crisp and fork-tender
  • Make sure to flip them roughly midway.
  • Once the baking is done, remove it and let it cool.
  • Now, take a spoon and beat the yogurt with little water to get a thick but pourable consistency.
  • Then, take a dish and add the roasted sweet potato, followed by Garbanzos.
  • Sprinkle a bit of Chat Masala over the chickpeas and layer with yogurt, your choice of chutneys, chopped onions, sev, and pomegranate.
  • Finally, your Sweet Potato Chaat is ready for serving.
