Ingredients

 

Method

  • Take a pan or pressure cooker and add beetroot and potatoes together with some salt 
  • Add enough water and boil them for about 7 to 8 whistles on medium flame. 
  • Once done, drain all the water, peel, and grate the beetroot and the potatoes in a bowl. 
  • Then add all the spices, Green Chilli, Salt, and Rice Flour. 
  • Now mix everything well with your hands. 
  • Once done, shape them into round patties or tikkis.
  • Next up, take some roasted Rava on a plate and place each cutlet.
  • Make sure that they are evenly coated on all sides by the Rava.
  • Then dust off the extra Rava. 
  • Now, heat some oil in a pan.
  • Once done, fry the cutlets till they turn crispy and golden.
  • Then, place the fried cutlets on kitchen paper towels to let them absorb the excess oil.
  • Serve the Beetroot Cutlet hot with chutneys, dips, or sauces of your choice.
