Take a bowl and add the Maida Flour, Ajwain, Fenugreek Leaves, Black Pepper, and Salt.

2

Add about 4 tbsp. Sunflower Oil to the bowl and start rubbing with your fingers till it gets coarse.

3

Now, add small amounts of water from time to time as you knead.

4

Once the dough is firm and smooth after kneading, let it rest for a few minutes while covering it with a muslin cloth.

5

After some time, once the dough is rested well, divide it into equal parts.

6

Now, heat a pan and add some Sunflower Oil.

7

While the oil heats, roll each portion of the dough into round ball shapes.

8

Once they are rolled, flatten out these round balls of dough.

9

By now, your Oil should be well heated, so you should start dropping the Mathris one after the other.

10

Fry them until they turn crispy and golden brown.

11

Once fried, put the Mathris on a kitchen towel to soak the excess oil.

12

Let them cool to normal temperature and serve or store in an airtight container.
