Ingredients

For the Patty:

  • 1 Tbsp. Dwaraka Organic Sunflower Oil
  • 8 Onion Rings
  • 4 Capsicum Rings
  • 1 Tbsp. Red Chilli Flakes, dry
  • 1 Tbsp. Mixed Herbs, dry
  • 4 Burger Buns
  • 4 Tsp. Melted Butter
  • 4 Lettuce Leaves
  • Salt as per taste

Method

For the Patty:

  • Take a bowl, combine the maida flour and water.
  • Make sure to mix well, and once done, keep it aside.
  • Next up, mash the rajma coarsely and keep aside.
  • Now. Take a pan and heat the oil.
  • Once heated, add the onions, ginger, green chillies, and sauté on a medium flame for about five minutes.
  • Next, add the turmeric powder, potatoes, paneer, rajma, coriander, garam masala, and salt.
  • Mix very well and make sure to cook on a medium flame for a few minutes while you stir continuously.
  • Once done, remove the pan from the flame and let it cool slightly.
  • After that, add the corn flour and mix well.
  • Now portion it into four equal circles.
  • Dip each patty in the maida flour and water mix that was kept aside.
  • Next up, roll in the bread crumbs till it is evenly coated on all sides.
  • After that, in a pan, heat some oil and fry each patty until they turn golden brown.
  • Finally, drain the excess oil and keep the patty aside. 

For the Spring Onion Spread:

  • Take a mixer and combine all the ingredients along with 1 Tbsp. dahi.
  • Blend it all to a smooth paste.
  • Then, put the paste into a bowl, add the remaining dahi, and mix well. 
  • Once done, keep aside. 

Making the Rajma Burger:

  • Take a pan, preferably non-stick, and heat some oil.
  • Add the onions and capsicum rings, and sauté gently on a medium flame for a few minutes.
  • Next, add the chilli flakes, mixed herbs, salt, and pepper, and sauté gently for about thirty seconds.
  • Once done, remove the pan from the flame and keep aside.
  • Now, you have to carefully cut each burger bun horizontally into two. 
  • Apply ½ Tsp. of butter on each half of the burger bun’s insides and lightly toast them on a griddle.
  • Once done, keep aside.
  • Next up, apply 1 Tbsp. spring onion spread on all the upper bun halves.
  • Put the lower half of a bun on a dry and clean surface, making sure that the buttered side faces up.
  • Then put a lettuce leaf on the bun and one onion ring over it, and apply 1 Tbsp. spring onion spread over it again.
  • Now, carefully place a cutlet, one capsicum ring, and one onion ring over it.
  • Once done, put the upper half of the bun over it with the spread side facing down and press it lightly.
  • Repeat the same with the remaining ingredients to make three more burgers.
  • Finally, serve some delicious Rajma Burgers immediately with fried mozzarella sticks for added flavor.
